Working Bee: You Yangs Boneseed Removal

African Boneseed, an introduced weed, has been actively removed from the You Yangs Regional Park by GFNC volunteers for over 60 years.

Non-members are welcome.

We will be working in a new area this time. We plan to split our efforts between the new location and our “traditional” area which is now well controlled

We will meet at the carpark next to the visitor’s centre at 9:45 am, and car pool from there.

Bring: Gloves, eye protection (some safety glasses will be available if you don’t have any), mattock (optional). Wear suitable clothing i.e. long sleeves/trousers, high visibility vest/top and robust footwear.

Plus bring snacks/lunch, sunscreen, hat, rain gear (depending on weather forecast), camera, binoculars and hand sanitiser.
