The GFNC is a club for anyone interested in wildlife, plants, or conservation in the Geelong region.
The club holds monthly meetings (via a mix of Zoom and face to face) and excursions.
Most meetings have presentations from specialists in aspects of natural history and conservation.

Geelong Naturalist - The Monthly Magazine of the GFNC

The Geelong Naturalist is the monthly publication of the Geelong Field Naturalists Club and contains all the club news, reports of our excursions and meetings, coming events and reports of the field trips.

It also features articles written and illustrated by members on a diverse range of natural history topics..... Astronomy, insects, snakes, bird of the month. The Naturalist is provided to all members as part of their membership, or you can subscribe to paper or electronic (in full colour) copies without becoming a member. The Geelong Naturalist gives you all the natural history happenings in and around Geelong. Back copies can be accessed from local libraries. Members can now recieve the publication electronically if they wish.
